The luncheon kicked off with opening remarks from P. Ramakrishna (Rama), deputy CEO of CIO Academy Asia, who was the moderator for the session. Held at the Flutes restaurant, he set the tone for the topic on ‘Innovate and Transform your Business’ by defining the importance of innovation in today’s Digital Age where the pace of change for business has gone into hyper speed.

CIOs from Singapore gathered at the pristine yacht Club on Keppel Bay for a workshop on managing value in IT. Burning questions like how IT and business should adopt a collaborative approach, grow mutual understanding and navigate shortening business cycles were also discussed.
CIO Care embarked on an IT advisory project with Mercy relief. Based in Singapore, Mercy Relief is the second largest disaster relief charity organisation after Red Cross. With the support of Ken Yeo (CIO, Hermès Asia), we offered pro-bono consultancy services and procured infrastructure tools to improve the IT capabilities of Mercy Relief. As we approach the next phase of this project, Ken Yeo will be providing further guidance, so that the eight-man-team at Mercy Relief are equipped to respond swiftly in time of crisis, and remain accountable
