CIO Academy Asia hosted yet another edition of our Distinguished CEO series, this time with Bipul Sinha, CEO & Co-founder of Rubrik, Inc.

Bipul has been anything but a stranger to the tech ecosystem in the valley. He was a founding investor & board member of Nutanix during his career in venture capital. Leveraging his deep expertise in cloud management, Bipul set off on a mission in 2013 to help organisations simplify their cloud transformation journey.

Addressing a private table of CIOs & tech leaders, Bipul & the Rubrik team shared unique use cases that large organisations are developing on Rubrik’s tech beyond its core capabilities as a data back-up service provider. One use case stood out in particular, as Rubrik enabled organisations to utilise back-up versions of their data in innovation projects as a data sandbox, where failures are isolated from live operations and data can be easily restored to previous versions.

Rubrik’s rapid growth in Asia is one to note, we are happy to celebrate their office opening with the team in Singapore this week!
