With a career spanning over 28 years, Sau Sheong brings a wealth of experience in technology leadership, product innovation, and digital transformation.

Before joining GovTech, Sau Sheong served as an Operating Partner for Digital for Temasek,  a leading global investment company based in Singapore. As part of the AI Strategy and Solutions team, he  contirbuted to advancing their digital initiatives.

Earlier in his career he led SP Digital, the digital business unit of SP Group, and oversaw IT, OT, and digital transformation efforts across the organization for more than six years. His leadership was instrumental in transforming SP Group from a traditional utility providor into a regional energy player.

Sau Sheong’s extensive industry experience includes building and leading product engineering teams at global tech giants such as PayPal, Yahoo and HPP, where he developed software products for enterprise businesses and consumers globally. He was previously a co-founder of a software company and was involved in startups for more than 10 years.

Beyond his professional achievements, Sau Sheong is an active contributor to technology communities across Singapore and Southeast Asia, and has written 5 programming books, currently working on a 5th book.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, a Master’s in Commercial Law, and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Arbitration.
