The British High Commissioner(HC) to Singapore, Kara Owen met CIO Academy Asia at Block 71 as part of her introduction to Singapore. Ramakrishna Purushotaman gave a brief overview of what CIOAA does & our co-host NUS Enterprise’s Kelvin Tan also walked us through the history of Block 71 and the continuous journey of collaborative support towards building the entrepreneurial ecosystem for tech-related startups in Singapore. Rama shared a copy of the Intelligent Island book which he co-authored, with HC Kara Owen, courtesy of SGTech. HC Kara was accompanied by Caroline Craggs, Scottish Development International APAC Head.
